Moyai is a want-driven coordination system designed to help people fulfill real needs within trusted communities.
By using Moyai, you agree to the terms below.
1. What Moyai Is — and Is Not
Moyai helps people coordinate potential exchanges.
Moyai does not:
- Operate a marketplace
- Facilitate payments
- Verify items or people
- Guarantee outcomes
- Enforce or mediate exchanges
Moyai’s role is limited to helping people discover and explore possible matches.
2. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of information you provide
- Your decisions to engage, decline, or disengage
- Any interaction or exchange that occurs as a result of a match
You are never obligated to proceed with a match.
3. Wants and Gives
- Wants represent personal need and are treated as private signals
- Gives represent intent to offer something
- Matches indicate potential relevance, not obligation
A match means there is enough information to explore — nothing more.
4. Communication and Disclosure
Communication in Moyai is:
- Scoped to a specific match
- Optional at every step
- Intended to clarify uncertainty, not create commitment
You may stop responding or withdraw at any time.
5. Safety and Judgment
Moyai does not assess safety, condition, legality, or suitability of items or exchanges.
You are responsible for:
- Using your own judgment
- Taking appropriate precautions
- Deciding whether an exchange feels right
If something does not feel appropriate, you should not proceed.
6. Community Expectations
Moyai is designed for small, trusted communities.
By using Moyai, you agree to:
- Act respectfully
- Avoid misuse or misrepresentation
- Not exploit the system for spam, promotion, or surveillance
Behavior that undermines trust may result in loss of access.
7. Off-Platform Coordination
Moyai may support coordination within the platform, but it does not require it.
Users may choose to coordinate externally.
Moyai is not responsible for interactions that occur outside the platform.
8. Availability and Changes
Moyai is an evolving system.
- Features, workflows, or availability may change as the product develops.
- Moyai may suspend or discontinue parts of the service without notice.
9. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law:
- Moyai is provided “as is”
- Moyai is not responsible for loss, harm, or disputes arising from exchanges
- Use of Moyai is at your own discretion and risk
